Traditional Village Hall for Filming

Waddesdon Hall is part of the Rothschild Estate.  A Grade II Listed Building,  it was built in 1879 and has a wealth of history, character and French features.  The unique main hall comprises of beautiful wooden floors, beamed ceiling, tasteful lighting and stage. It is a quintessentially English village hall setting.

Outside the building is well maintained and part of the historic Buckinghamshire village of Waddesdon, with many neighboring properties also part of the Rothschild Estate.  The hall has a well maintained garden and private car park.

Location

Waddesdon Hall is a stones throw from Waddesdon Manor, the Rothschild French renaissance-style chateau.  Waddesdon Manor has featured in many productions.

Waddesdon Hall is easily reached from London Marylebone, a 5-minute drive from Aylesbury station, and around 30 minutes from junction 9 of the M40. Its also easily reached from Bicester and Thame in Oxfordshire.

If you need overnight accommodation, we are conveniently located next to the boutique Five Arrows Hotel, also part of the Rothschild Estate.

Actor James Bye and his Strictly Come Dancing partner Amy Dowden used Waddesdon Hall for their rehearsals during the series in 2022.
